Seen in a timely and professional manner
I was very pleased to receive excellent treatment fro friendly, considerate and professional people at all levels of contact with hospital staff
I have had several visits to this Hospital for successful removal of Kidney Stones and on each occasion all the staff were very caring and helpful.
Returned home 3 weeks ago after having knee surgery. Nothing negative about this hospital. Staff was amazing from consultant, nursing team, physics and porters. Stayed on ward 7, I was treat with respect at all times, staff were there to help every step of the way. Everyone on the ward was looked after 100%. I chose to go to Lancaster for initial appointment and was very please to have operation in Kendal as my husband works in the town, visiting times are brilliant as any time during the day/evening just avoid meal times. Meals were very good, lots of choice and best sticky toffee pudding I have had in a long time.
Senior nurse on ward 7 was wonderful and you could tell all staff respected her and each other. Well done ward 7 you all do an amazing job.
The staff at WGH are consistently courteous, caring and efficient. They do not need to improve their care.
Morecambe Bay Hospitals Trust needs to use the building more effectively by locating more facilities there so that patients from South Lakeland do not have to travel to Lancaster which puts a significant strain on the facilities at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
WGH is a very friendly and caring hospital. Over my lifetime I have visited many hospitals. Although it is never good having to visit hospital, I always feel relaxed, and pleased it's WGH I am at.
A patient-friendly and well run hospital with dedicated staff.
Seen promptly.Nurses very friendly with sense of humour
Being seen in Kendal is convenient but the waiting room is not usually set up for children.
